    (for example: http://www.yourwebsite.com/admin).

  3. Once logged in, go to the “Jump To…” menu and scroll down until you find “AcuShow” and select it.

Where are my Slideshows I can Edit with AcuShow?

The main AcuShow page contains a list of slideshows on your site that you can edit. Each row is a slideshow with controls to the right. The "View" button is a convenient, direct link to each page with a live slideshow.

How do I Edit a Slideshow?

From the main AcuShow page, click "Edit" next to the slideshow you wish to change. From there, you have any of the following options:

  • Change the order in which the images appear within your slideshow in the "Display Order & Sequence" section.
  • Include an image in the slideshow rotation by selecting it from the dropdown in the position you want it to appear.
  • Remove an image from the slideshow rotation by setting the dropdown back to "Choose an Image".
  • View images in the current slideshow's library in the section labeled "Available Images for this Slideshow".
  • Set the timing of your slideshow in the "Display & Transition Timings" section.

Remember to click "SAVE", conveniently located at the top or bottom of the page, when you are finished making changes to your slideshow. This will save your changes and make them live for the world to see!

How can I Add or Delete Images?

From the main AcuShow page, click "Manage Images" next to the slideshow whose library you wish to manage.

Add New Images

To add new images to your slideshow, you must first upload them to the online library of images for that slideshow.

  1. Before uploading new images, we strongly recommend that you pre-size them to each slideshow's specific dimensions for the best image quality. See the Pre-sizing Images support section below for more information.
  2. Notice the slideshow dimensions under "Upload Image Specs". New images should be JPG format and match these specifications.
  3. You can upload multiple images at a time. Click "Browse..." next to each slot to locate an image on your computer.
  4. Press the "UPLOAD IMAGES" button to upload the set of images to the current slideshow's online library. The "Message Center" at the top of the page will inform you of the results.
  5. If you have not pre-sized images to the slideshow dimensions, the system will attempt to automatically resize your images. If it detects that distortion will occur when resizing, you will receive a notification in the "Message Center" at the top of the page after attempting to upload.
  6. If the system returns the message that the image would be distorted if forced to fit the slideshow, you can still attempt to upload the same image again. If you are not concerned about perfect quality on certain images, you have the option of forcing them to fit by checking the "Force Image to Fit Slideshow" checkbox under each image. The system will downsize the image to specifications regardless of the results.

Delete Images

If you have images that you no longer need, you can remove them from your library. We recommend cleaning out unused images from your slideshow libraries periodically to save space and reduce clutter.

  1. Scroll down to the "Manage Images" section. All of the images with a checkmark in the adjacent column are currently being used in your slideshow.
  2. As a safety precaution, you can only delete images not currently being used in a slideshow. Therefore if you wish to delete an image, it must be removed from the slideshow first by editing the slideshow.
  3. Check the boxes in the "Delete" column corresponding to each image you wish to delete.
  4. Once you have selected images for deletion, scroll back up and confirm that you want the selected images to be removed. Please realize that you are about to permanently delete these images from this slideshow's online library.
  5. If you are sure you no longer need these images, press the "DELETE SELECTED IMAGES" button.

AcuShow "Message Center"

AcuShow provides feedback when you perform significant actions. After you make changes to a slideshow or image, look to the top for the results of the change.

Pre-sizing Images

We strongly recommend that you pre-size new images to each slideshow's specific dimensions before uploading for best results. If you do not have software on your computer that can presize images, these suggested online image tools are links to third-party sites. Acuity is not responsible for the accuracy of these tools.

Note for Internet Explorer Users

Changes to slideshows may not appear immediately. It may take a minute for your browser to clear the old copy and load the new one.
