What is AcuPix?™

AcuPix is a simple yet powerful tool to share your images with the world. AcuPix integrates photos into your website with a simple and easy to use administrative interface that makes managing your galleries a breeze.

How do I access it?

If you have AcuPix set up as a service with Acuity marketing, then you may access it to ways:

  1. Public Access (viewable to everyone) - http://yourdomain.com/gallery/
  2. Admin Access (photo management) - http://yourdomain.com/gallery/admin/

How do I Manage My Photos?

  1. Log into your photo gallery admin by going to http://yourdomain.com/gallery/admin/. Provide your username and password (it will be the same as your Updater username and password).
  2. After you log in, you will see the main screen. The only two tabs you will use is the Upload and Import tabs.

    UPLOAD is for adding individual or small numbers of photos. If you want to upload a large number of images at one time, see "IMPORT" below.

    IMPORT is for adding larger batches of photos (up to 20 at a time).

How do I upload a large group of photos?

  1. Begin by going to the gallery's batch upload page: http://DOMAIN.COM/gallery/uploader/

  2. On that page, just click each "browse..." button to locate each image on your computer; after you've filled all the "slots", click the "upload button" at the bottom of the list to move those photos from your computer to the web server.
  3. Once they've finished uploading (you'll see an acknowledgment at the bottom of the "uploader" screen), click on the "IMPORT" tab (shown above) on http://DOMAIN.COM/gallery/admin/ -- and you should see this:

  4. Click on the red "uploads" link.
  5. The resulting form will ask you which "album" you wish to add them to; choose the album for the day on which you took these photos:

  6. To check the public gallery (to be sure everything showed up as expected), just go back http://DOMAIN.COM/gallery/ALBUMNAME/ and be sure to "refresh" your browser to see the latest!

How do I move or delete photos?

  1. In the unlikely event you need to remove (or move) some photos, choose the THIRD tab in the line-up, "MANAGE"

  2. Navigate to the album with the photo(s) you need to move (to another album-date) or remove:
  3. Check the box next to each picture you want to move or delete.
  4. Then, use the controls below the pictures to make your changes:
